France and the Habsburgs

With the Holy League with France that Papa Julio II proclaimed in 1511, Henry VIII used the occasion for more power for himself. Then, the Westminster, a plan that Henry used to help Spain to attack France. In 1513, Henry invaded France and he win the battle of the Spurs. His brother-in-law, James IV of Scotland, invaded England at the moment of Louis XII of France, but failed to draw Henry's attention away from France. The Scots were defeated at the Battle of Flodden on 9 September.
